workshop on METHODOLOGY OF WRITING HIGH-QUALITY SCIENTIFIC PAPERS
for professors, researchers, post-graduates & students
The course aims to provide information on a range of skills that are essential to develop a career in scientific research. The course is independent of any academic subject, focusing more on the philosophy needed to make a successful career in research, whatever the subject.
A career in science is largely built on the (perceived) quality of publications that a researcher (or a team of researchers) offers his or her colleagues. If these publications are numerous and of high quality, they lead to research funding and employment.
The course will be held in English and available online – video streamed.

He teaches general research skills to PhD students at the Faculty of Biology, Belgrade University, including modules on good quality research and scientific writing, and for many years has given training courses to researchers around Europe on aspects of general research skills. Last year he gave training courses on these topics to PhD students and young researchers in Spain, Slovenia and Montenegro, as well as Serbia.
He has also been a visiting Professor at the Schools of Biology and Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, and the Business School, Newcastle University, UK.
